Changing the Text Alignment and Line Spacing

When you first type text, PowerPoint automatically sets it against the left edge of the text box. To change the paragraph alignment, perform the following steps:

  1. Click anywhere inside the paragraph you want to realign.

  2. Select Format, Alignment. The Alignment submenu appears.

  3. Select Left, Center, Right, or Justify, to align the paragraph as desired (see Figure 11.2 for examples).
