Applying Custom Chart Types

Microsoft Graph comes with several predesigned chart formats that you can apply to your chart. You select the custom chart type you want, and Microsoft Graph reformats your chart, giving it a professional look. Here's how you use Custom Chart Types to select a chart design:

  1. Choose Chart, Chart Type. The Chart Type dialog box appears, as shown in Figure 21.2.

  2. Click the Custom Types tab. The display changes to the one shown in Figure 21.3.

  3. From the Chart Type list, choose a chart type. In the Sample area, Microsoft Graph creates a sample of the selected chart type.

  4. Click OK. Microsoft Graph reformats the chart using the selected custom type.
