Creating a Link Message

Link Messages are used to sa document link to Notes mail correspondents. By using the Link Message feature of Notes, you also use a special mail template that fills the entire mail message in for you, except for the To, cc, and bcc fields. For example, say a new client appears in your Customer Tracking database and you want to bring that to the attention of a Mail Memo recipient. Create a Link Message and sthat message to your co-worker. Understand something important about link messages: They are a feature of Notes Mail, but you won't use this to link to messages contained in your own mail file. The link will fail because only those with access to your mail database can see the document to which you are linking. If you want others to see a mail message from your inbox, forward that message. Use link messages when you are certain that the document to which you are linking is accessible by all the recipients listed.

In order for a Link Message to work, remember that others must have access to the database to which you are linking. Use the following steps to create a Link Message:
