Hour 7. Formatting Views > Using the General Format Options

Using the General Format Options

Using formatting options to change your Project views can help you emphasize certain information (by changing the font of selected text), change your perspective of the information displayed (by using the Zoom feature), and customize how that information is displayed (by changing the graph type or an object's color).

You will find that the different views you work with in Project fall into three categories: sheets, forms, and graphical views. All the sheet views (such as the left side of the Gantt Chart) share certain characteristics, such as gridlines. Most graphical views, such as the Gantt Chart, contain timescales.
