Checking for Spelling Errors

Before you print a schedule or report, you should spell check the project file. Nothing is more embarrassing than handing a report or printout to a boss or client with misspelled words! The spell checker verifies the spelling of your list of task names and any notes you have added to a task.

Using the Spelling Command

If you have used the spelling feature in other Windows programs, you will be right at home using it in Project 98. To access the spell check feature, click the Spelling button on the Standard toolbar or choose Tools, Spelling from the menu. The Spelling dialog box (shown in Figure 8.1) appears when Project can't find a word in its internal dictionary.
