Part III: Displaying and Printing Your S... > Finalizing and Printing Your Schedul...

Hour 8. Finalizing and Printing Your Schedule

Now that you have created the task list, established the dependency links between tasks, and explored the most popular task views, it's a good time to print your schedule. There are several choices when printing the project data. You can print the data as it appears in a view—such as the Gantt Chart, PERT Chart, or Calendar views. On the other hand, you can print one of the 22 predesigned reports in Microsoft Project. These reports often consolidate the data or include calculations, which can help you analyze your schedule.

This hour concentrates on printing views and reports that focus on the project tasks. You will learn how to check your task list for spelling errors, set layout and print options for views, and explore the built-in reports. Hour 15, "Printing Views and Reports with Resources," explains how to print views and reports that focus on your project resources.
