Chapter 8. Working with Graphics in Writer

Writer distinguishes between graphics created in another program (including those produced by OOoDraw) and drawing objects (graphics created using Writer's drawing tools). Writer treats the two types of graphics differently:

  • Graphics created in another program are separate files, even when embedded in a Writer file.

  • Drawing objects created using Writer's drawing tools cannot be saved to a separate graphics file; they are part of the Writer file.
