9.4. Working with Hyperlinks

A hyperlink, also called an Internet link, is a cross-reference, activated by a mouse-click, that jumps a reader to another part of a Web page or a different Web page.

OpenOffice.org can recognize Web addresses (URLs) as you type them, replaces those addresses with a hyperlink, and formats the hyperlink with the font attributes (color and underline) defined for the hyperlink character style.
