Chapter 14. Secure Reviewing and Reporting > Using Headers and Footers

Using Headers and Footers

Erin could have applied a footer in Acrobat prior to starting her review. Being the efficient person she is, she decided to wait until the review was done, just in case she needed to make significant changes to the draft—which of course is what happened. Now that she’s got the entire document assembled, she’s going to add the footer to the pages before circulating the file again for signatures.

Note

Rather than adding footers in Acrobat, Erin could have imported them with her source document. If she had included the footer in the page she just converted and imported, the footer would have been added automatically to the page in the PDF file. In that case, she’d have to make any adjustments to the page numbering on the pages using the TouchUp Text tool.
