Testing and Tagging a File

Tags are a primary component of accessible documents. A tagged document contains a collection of tags, similar to those used in a Web page’s HTML code, defining relationships among elements in the document, such as tables, lists, images, headings, and text. Like HTML tags in a Web page, you can’t see document tags—they are part of the document’s information.

Diane’s first task is to test the accessibility status and tags of the health_tips.pdf file. She didn’t create the PDF file, so she’s not sure of whether the document is tagged or not.
