Chapter 10. Making a Form Interactive

Chapter 10. Making a Form Interactive

With Acrobat 7 Professional, you can create forms easily by using the Forms toolbar. Or, if you are working with Acrobat 7 Professional in Windows, you can use the new Adobe Designer, a complete forms design package that is installed as a separate program when you install Acrobat 7. You can learn how to work with Adobe Designer in Bonus Chapter 3, “Constructing a Form Using Adobe Designer,” on the book’s Web site (www.donnabaker.ca/downloads).

Whether you are working with Acrobat 7 Standard or Professional in either Windows or Mac, you can use the Forms tools to add a variety of form fields to a document. Not only that, you can configure form fields for a range of uses—from ordering a product to automatically e-mailing or printing a document. There are a number of Forms tools available in Acrobat, and this project uses all of them!
