What Else Could He Do?

Chuck’s new system for creating the PDF property listing documents is complete. The goal was to devise a method for building uniform, compact PDF and HTML files for his new listings that can be generated quickly. He achieves this goal by using a simple Word document and a PDF document that acts like a template.

Chuck can add other content to the PDF documents as well, depending on how he would like to use the document. For example, he can add a button that lets a customer e-mail him for more information about a property (as described in Bonus Chapter 1 on the Web site). He could also use another PDF document as an interface for displaying his listings documents. This interface PDF document might include a regional map with buttons that display the specific property’s page when clicked, as described in Chapter 4’s project.
