Using the Pages on a PDA

Chuck would like to have the information about his listings available in a form that he can load onto his PDA and take with him. He thinks it’s a cool idea and that it will appeal to his upwardly mobile clientele. Luckily, he can easily make the PDF documents for his property listings work on his PDA.

The screen on a PDA is extremely small, so zooming into the page to read the content makes it very difficult to figure out what part of the page is actually displayed—a problem known as reflow. If the document is tagged, as in Chuck’s project, you can reflow the page to show the content more clearly. In either Acrobat or on your PDA (using Acrobat Reader), choose View > Reflow. You see how the page is interpreted by Acrobat’s Reflow function (Figure 5.11). As you zoom in and out of the document pane, the text wraps to the next line automatically (Figure 5.12). In the figure, you can see the magnification is set at 300%.
