Chapter 2. Building a Sales Proposal fro... > Combining Documents in Acrobat

Combining Documents in Acrobat

Many of the documents for the presentation package are now converted to PDF. Jim and Joe also want to use an Excel spreadsheet, a Word document, and a JPEG image, which they’ll convert in Acrobat.

You can easily convert many types of source documents, such as Word documents or Excel spreadsheets, from within Acrobat. The last conversion settings you choose in a program’s PDFMaker are the settings used for converting the document to PDF in Acrobat. In the Percys’ case, while they could convert each document from within its respective application, they are working in Acrobat as they are also combining other content, and it’s quicker than opening both Word and Excel to convert files and then closing the programs again.
