Previewing Web Page Files

Not all Word formatting appears the same in a Web browser window as it does in Word. This means that a Web page you create in Word may look different when published on the Internet or a corporate intranet.

The Web Page Preview command on Word’s File menu (Figure 1) enables you to see what a Web page you created in Word looks like when viewed with a Web browser. Previewing a Web page helps you ensure that its appearance is acceptable when viewed by others.
