Chapter 8. Tables > Table AutoFormat

Table AutoFormat

Word’s Table AutoFormat feature offers a quick and easy way to combine many formatting options for an entire table.

To use Table AutoFormat

1.
Select the table that you want to format (Figure 94).

Choose Table > Table AutoFormat (Figure 18) to display the Table Auto-Format dialog (Figure 95).

Click to select one of the formats in the scrolling list.

4.
Toggle check boxes in the Apply special formats to area to specify which part(s) of the table should get the special formatting.

5.
When you’re finished setting options, click OK. The formatting for the Auto-Format is applied to the table (Figure 96).
