Export Comments from Acrobat into Word (Windows)

New to Acrobat is the ability to export the comments from a PDF file directly into Microsoft Word (Windows only). The exported comments will show up as a text bubble in Word 2002 or later. You can also choose whether to delete any text that a reviewer has asked (in a comment) to have crossed out or inserted into the Word document. Comments can also be imported into the engineering program AutoCad (from Autodesk) just as you can in Word.

To export a comment into Word (Windows)

1.
Choose Comments > Export Comments > To Word (Figure 9.31).

This launches the Import Comments from Adobe Acrobat dialog box, which describes the process for importing the comments into Word (Figure 9.32).

Click OK to begin the import process. In the next dialog box, choose the file you want to take the comments from; then choose the Word file into which you want to put the comments.

Click the Continue button to continue this importing process. Enter the name of the Word document into which you want to import the comments (Figure 9.33).

Open the Word file to see the comments shown as text bubbles in the document.
