Chapter 9. Reviewing > Changing the Status of a Comment

Changing the Status of a Comment

As you read over reviewed documents, you can make it clear which comments you've read by changing their status to Accepted, Rejected, Cancelled, or Completed. This is particularly helpful when you want to show or hide certain comments. For example, after changing the status of several comments, you can sort by status to show only Accepted ones.

To change the status of a comment

1.
In the document that has been reviewed, choose Comments > Show Comments List or click on the Comments tab.

The Comments pane opens below your document.

2.
Select the comment you want to change by clicking it in the Comments list (Figure 9.18).

3.
Choose an option from the Set Status menu in the Comments pane toolbar (Figure 9.19). Choose from the Review or Migration pop-up submenus. (You'll learn about the Migration options in an upcoming section.)
