Creating Bookmarks

Bookmarks are placeholders in a document. The most helpful kind of bookmark reflects the structure of the document. Because it's possible to arrange bookmarks in hierarchies, you could construct a detailed table of contents from your bookmarks (see the bookmarks in the Acrobat Help file for a good example).

If you receive a document that contains bookmarks placed by the author, here's how to use them.
