Making Changes to Indexes

Occasionally, if you add documents to your collection, you will want to catalog them and add the results to the collection's index. Similarly, if documents are no longer in your directory, it's a good idea to remove them from the index so that Acrobat doesn't try to search for something that isn't there.

For speed in indexing, when you change an index, Catalog will add only the differences between the new and old information to the existing index.
