Using Page Actions with Movies

In this section, you set up a movie to play automatically when you view a certain page in a document.

To create a movie that plays automatically

1.
Follow the steps in the task “To add a multimedia clip with the Movie tool” to select and set up a movie to play in a document.

With the Movie tool, right-click/Ctrl-click on the movie box to bring up the contextual menu. Choose Properties from this menu (Figure 11.21).

The Multimedia Properties dialog box appears.

Choose the Page Enter option from the Select Trigger pop-up menu.

Choose Play Media from the Select Action pop-up menu.

Click the Add button.

Choose the movie from the list by clicking on it, then click OK (Figure 11.22).

Click the Close button to save this action.

8.
Open the Pages pane and choose a different page using the Hand tool.

9.
Click on the page in which you created the movie.

When you go to that page, the movie will play automatically.
