Chapter 11. Adding Multimedia to PDFs

A few years ago, you needed a doctorate in Macromedia Director to create anything remotely akin to multimedia. Now more and more people are using Acrobat to accomplish the same things, such as creating a presentation or a slideshow.

Acrobat provides a simple way for you to add buttons, movies, sounds, and other multimedia components to PDF files. You can create multimedia elements in many programs, from QuarkXPress to Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, or Illustrator, and include them in your PDF documents.
