Chapter 7. Adding Comments > Stamping PDFs

Stamping PDFs

My favorite commenting feature is the Stamp tool, which allows you to place stamps anywhere in a document. You can stamp a document as Confidential, Top Secret, Working Draft, or For Your Eyes Only. You can even add custom stamps; any graphic file saved as a PDF can be placed as a custom stamp. Several stamp categories are built in:

  • Dynamic stamps include information on when and by whom a stamp was applied.

  • The Sign Here stamp choices are Rejected, Accepted, Initial Here, Sign Here, and Witness.

  • Standard Business stamps include Approved, Completed, Confidential, Draft, Final, Not Approved, Not for Public Release, and Void.

  • Favorites lets you organize the comments you use most frequently.
