Purchasing and Organizing eBooks

Currently, a few online booksellers, including eBooks.com, Amazon.com, and Adobe itself, are offering a selection of free titles for trial use with Acrobat, with more available for purchase. Once you've downloaded a few titles, you can organize them into categories.

To purchase an eBook

1.
Choose Advanced > Digital Editions > My Digital Editions.

The My Digital Editions window appears.

Click the Adobe Digital Media Store button (Figure 2.34).

When the Adobe Digital Media Store Web page opens, choose a genre.

4.
Select your book by clicking on the title or the picture of the book's cover.

5.
To purchase the book, click the Buy button.

6.
If you have finished selecting books, click the Checkout button to complete the purchase.

7.
Enter your payment information, then click the Proceed to Downloads button.

Once your order is processed, you can download the Digital Edition directly into Acrobat.
