Looking at Document Properties

Each PDF document has certain information associated with it; this data is known by the umbrella term Document Properties. It may tell you when the document was created, what application created it, or when it was last modified. Such information comes in handy in a wide variety of ways, from knowing whether you can manipulate a document to knowing what fonts a PDF contains.

Acrobat groups Document Properties into six classes: Description, Security, Fonts, Initial View, Custom, and Advanced.
