Acrobat has a modular, customizable interface. Most of the tools and panes you see on the screen can be separated from their neighbors, moved to different parts of the screen, combined in groups as you see fit, or banished altogether.
Running across the top of the application window is the menu bar, containing the pull-down menus. Just below the menu bar are the toolbars, which give you quick access to the most commonly used commands for file manipulation, viewing, and navigation.
