Checking the Accessibility of Your PDF

You can check how accessible your PDF is. Acrobat runs a check on the structure and tags of the PDF to make sure the document can be made accessible. It also checks for protection settings and for images that are scanned (in other words, they are not accessible).

To check for accessibility

  • Choose Advanced > Accessibility > Quick Check.

    A window appears, containing a brief report on the accessibility of your document (Figure C.8).
