Working with layers

This document was created using AutoCAD. Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 is able to preserve layers from AutoCAD and other programs such as Microsoft Visio. These layers can be enabled or disabled for viewing. This makes it easier to focus on the information in your file that is most relevant.

1.
Click the Layers tab or choose View > Navigation Tabs > Layers to open the Layers panel.

2.
If necessary, in the Layers panel, click the plus sign (+) (Windows) or triangle () (Mac OS) located to the left of the floorplan section. This makes all the layers in the section available for modification.

If you can already see a number of layers visible under the floorplan heading, do not click the minus sign or triangle, as this will hide the layers for this portion of the PDF document.

3.
In the Layers panel, click the Eye icon () located to the left of the layer name for each of the following layers:

  • Automatic_Dimension_Lines.

  • Window_sizes.

  • Door_sizes.

  • Roof_planes.
