Lesson 2. Getting to Know the Work Area > Using the navigation controls in the ...

Using the navigation controls in the status bar

Acrobat provides a variety of ways for you to move through and adjust the magnification of a PDF document. For example, you can scroll through the document using the scroll bar at the right side of the window, or you can turn pages as in a traditional book using the navigation controls in the status bar at the bottom of the document window. You can also jump to a specific page using the status bar at the bottom of the window or the page thumbnails in the Pages tab.

You can add a Navigation toolbar to the toolbar area by choosing View > Toolbars > Navigation, and then docking the Navigation toolbar in the toolbar area.
