Getting started

In this lesson, you'll work on two forms for a fictitious music supply business. You'll start by taking an existing paper form and converting it to a PDF. You'll then work with an existing PDF file. This lesson uses the forms tools available within Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional. You can also use Adobe Designer for creating PDF forms. Lesson16 provides details on how to use Adobe Designer for creating and editing PDF forms.

1.
Start Adobe Acrobat.

2.
To see what the finished file looks like, navigate to the Lesson14 folder and open the file info_end.pdf.

3.
When you have finished examining the completed PDF file, you can keep the file open for reference while you work on this exercise, or you can close the file by choosing File > Close.
