Grouping Objects

Grouping multiple objects into a single grouped element ensures that all the items move as one, and that their relationship and location remains constant.

1.
Choose Window > Hierarchy. The Hierarchy palette is displayed. The elements you created for the top of the form are listed under the section titled (untitled subform) (page 1).

2.
Click to select the Warranty Registration and Questionnaire text box. Press and hold the Shift key and then click to select the logo and click to select the LPH Technologies text box. All three objects should be selected.

3.
With the three objects selected, choose Layout > Group.

In the Hierarchy palette, all three items now appear under a Group designation.

4.
In the Hierarchy palette, right-click the Group object and choose Rename Object from the context menu. Enter the name Head.

5.
Click the Save button () in the toolbar to save the file.
