Lesson 16. Creating Forms with Adobe Liv... > Adding graphics to a form

Adding graphics to a form

Your forms may contain graphics and design elements. Adobe Designer makes it easy to add graphics to your forms. Here you'll add a logo for our fictitious company.

1.
In the Library palette, locate and click on the Standard tab. Click and drag the Image icon from the Standard tab of the Library onto the top, center portion of the page, below the text you entered in the previous section. You may need to scroll through the available choices in the Standard tab to locate the Image icon.

2.
Click the Object tab. In the Object tab locate the URL: option and click the folder icon () to the right of the URL: option. The Browse for Image File window opens. In the Browse for Image File window, navigate to the Lesson16 folder, and import the file logo.tif.

Adobe LiveCycle Designer can import a variety of graphic file formats, including .bmp, .jpg, .gif, .png, and .tif files.

3.
Click to select the Layout tab. In the Layout tab, choose Top Middle from the Anchor drop-down menu and enter the Anchor X value as 4.25 and the Anchor Y value as .75. Press the Enter or Return key after entering these values.

4.
Press the Save button () in the toolbar to save the file.
