Lesson 16. Creating Forms with Adobe Liv... > Getting to know the work area

Getting to know the work area

Form creation and editing is done using the Layout Editor. This is the area where you create and maintain a form design. The Layout Editor includes several tabs which provide different views of a form for either editing or preview purposes. For example, the Body Pages tab is used primarily for editing form design, while the PDF Preview tab is used to view how a form will look when converted to an Adobe PDF file.

There are also tabbed palettes arranged around the Layout Editor that provide access to editing and layout tools. These palettes can be attached to either the left or right side of the Layout Editor, or they can be free-standing palettes that are positioned anywhere within the work area.
