Adding shapes

You can use shapes as design elements to draw attention to specific portions of a form or to separate one part of a form from another.

1.
From the Standard tab of the Library palette, click and drag the Rectangle to the lower left corner of the form. Keep the rectangle selected.

2.
In the Layout palette, enter the following values to adjust the size and position of the rectangle: X: 0.5 in, Y: 6.5 in, Width: 2.75 in, Height: 3 in. Keep the rectangle selected.

3.
In the Object palette, click the Line Style drop-down menu and choose None. Click the Fill drop-down menu and choose Solid.

4.
Click the Fill Color button () and choose the same light green color you selected earlier in the lesson.
