Duplicating an object

Adobe LiveCycle Designer makes it easy to generate multiple copies of similar objects on a form.

1.
Click onto the outside edge of the radio button for the 18–25 age group and choose Edit > Copy Multiple. The Copy Multiple window opens.

If the Copy Multiple command is not available, it is because the text inside the radio button is selected, instead of the button itself. If necessary, try to select the button again by clicking on the blue line on the outside edge of the radio button.

2.
In the Copy Multiple window, set the following values:

  • Number of copies: 4.

  • Vertical Placement: No vertical movement.

  • Horizontal placement: Place to the right.

  • Horizontal spacing: Offset by: 1.35 in.

After entering these values, press the OK button to close the Copy Multiple window.

3.
Double-click the radio button located immediately to the right of the original button. The text inside of this duplicated button becomes selected. Change the text to: 26–35. Repeat the process of selecting and then renaming the text in the three remaining radio buttons, entering the names 36–45; 46–55; and then 56 and Over.
