Chapter 17. The Project Center > Sharing a Project

Sharing a Project

A project and its materials can be shared with others, if you wish. In order to share a project, you and your colleagues must have access to a file server. All shared materials are moved from their original location to a shared location on the designated file server.

To share a project

1.
Do one of the following:

  • At the bottom of any Project Center tab, click the Share icon and choose Start Sharing Project.

  • Choose File > Share a Project.

The Project Sharing Assistant appears (Figure 17.16).

Provide the information requested by the Project Sharing Assistant, such as the project you wish to share and a destination location of the file server. Click the right-arrow icon to move from one screen to the next.
