Chapter 2. Setup and Maintenance > Configuring Entourage for Multiple Users

Configuring Entourage for Multiple Users

If you share your computer with others (family members or co-workers, for example), you can configure Entourage so that each person's email, newsgroups, calendar, Address Book, tasks, and notes are kept separate. To do this, you create identities.

To create a new identity

1.
Choose Entourage > Switch Identity or press..

A dialog box appears (Figure 2.21).

4.
Enter a name for the identity (such as the person's name) and then click OK.

5.
Create the identity by responding to the Entourage Setup Assistant screens. You can base the identity on Entourage default settings or on information imported from a previous version of Entourage, a Mac email program, and/or a PIM.

When you're done, Entourage switches to the new identity.
