Other Message Addressing Techniques

In addition to the previously mentioned methods of creating new email messages, Entourage provides several other useful ways to create pre-addressed messages.

To create a pre-addressed message

  • Do any of the following:

    • Select a name in the Address Book and click the New Message To toolbar icon.

    • -click a name in the Address Book and choose New Message To.

    • On the Summary tab of an Address Book record (in the Preview pane or open in its own window), click the icon beside the person's name and choose New Message To from the pop-up menu (Figure 10.13).

Figure 10.13. Click the icon beside the contact name to create an email message addressed to the person.

    • On the Summary tab of an Address Book record (in the Preview pane or open in its own window), click the Send Mail icon beside the person's email address (see Figure 10.13).

    • Click an email address in the body of a received message (Figure 10.14) or on a Web page.

Figure 10.14. If you click an email address embedded in the body of a message, Entourage creates a new message addressed to that person.

    • Another way to open a new window for a reply, forward, or redirected message is to -click a message header in Entourage's message list and choose the appropriate command from the pop-up menu that appears.

An untitled message window appears, addressed to the recipient.
