Chapter 4. Duplicate the Worksheet > Clear the Values pp. 51–52

Clear the Values pp. 5152

  • In Excel 2004 for Mac OS, when you clear out the values, you may see green markers in the corners of cells that reference those values. That's Excel's automatic error-checking feature. Ignore them; they will disappear when you enter new values.

  • Don't believe that you cleared out the contents of two worksheets at once? Click the sheet tabs for February and March to see for yourself!

  • It's important to remove the group sheet selection as instructed in step 6 before entering new values in the February worksheet. Otherwise, you'll enter the same values in both the February and March worksheets.
