Chapter 19. The Presentation > Adding Sound and Movies

Adding Sound and Movies

To enliven a presentation, you can add audio, music, and movies to selected slides.

To add sound, a movie, or CD audio

1.
In Normal, Slide, or Outline View, select the slide to which you'd like to add a movie, sound, or CD audio.

2.
Choose a command from the Insert > Movies and Sounds submenu:

  • If you choose Movie from Gallery or Sound from Gallery, the Clip Gallery window opens.

  • If you choose Movie from File or Sound from File, the Insert Movie or Insert Sound dialog box appears.

  • If you choose Play CD Audio Track, the Play Options dialog box appears (Figure 19.11). Select a starting and ending track, and set other options.
