Adding Transition Effects

Transition effects are optional visual effects, such as dissolves, splits, and wipes, used for transitions between slides. You can apply different transitions to different slides.

1.
In Slide Sorter view, select the slide for which you want to specify a transition.

To apply a transition to the selected slide, do one of the following:

  • Choose a transition from the Slide Transition Effects menu on the Slide Sorter toolbar (Figure 19.7). A preview of the effect is shown on the slide.

  • Click the Slide Transition icon on the Slide Sorter toolbar or choose Slide Show > Slide Transition. In the Slide Transition dialog box (Figure 19.8), set Effect, Sound, and Advance slide options, and then click Apply.
