Saving a Presentation as a Movie

Another way to make a presentation easily transportable is to save it as a PowerPoint (QuickTime) movie. The resulting movie can be viewed in any QuickTime-compatible player, such as Apple's QuickTime Player.

To save a presentation as a PowerPoint movie

1.
Choose File > Make Movie.

A Save As panel appears (Figure 19.28).

Enter a filename for the movie in the Save As text box.

In the Where section of the dialog box, select a location in which to save the movie.

To view or change the default movie settings, click the Movie Options button.

The Movie Options dialog box appears (Figure 19.29).

Make any desired changes, such as specifying the movie size and quality, and recording details about the presentation's creators. When you've finished, click OK.

6.
In the Save As panel, click Save to create the movie.
