Part: II Microsoft Word > Adding Graphics

Chapter 6. Adding Graphics

You can add graphics to a Word document in several ways:

  • You can choose an image from the included clip art collection.

  • You can insert images from your hard disk, such as scans, digital photos, or pictures that you've downloaded from the Web or received in email.

  • You can scan an image directly into a document or transfer photos from your digital camera.

  • You can use Word's drawing tools to create your own graphics or add predefined shapes called AutoShapes.

  • You can add artistic text called WordArt to your documents.
