Aligning Table Data

Using the Tables and Borders toolbar, you can also change the alignment or orientation of data.

To change the alignment or orientation of cell data

  • Do any of the following:

    • Select the cells whose alignment you want to change. Click the Cell Align-ment icon on the Tables and Borders toolbar and select the desired alignment from the pop-up palette (Figure 7.13).

    • To change the orientation of data within cells, select the cells you want to orient. Click the Change Text Direction icon on the Tables and Borders toolbar (Figure 7.14) repeatedly until you get the desired orientation. There are three possible orientations (Figure 7.15).
