To save a presentation

1.
Choose File > Save, press , or click the Save icon on the Standard toolbar.

If you've previously saved the presentation, the new version overwrites the old one and you can continue working.

If this is the first time you've saved the presentation, the Save As panel appears (see Figure 17.41). Enter a name for the presentation, choose the format in which you'd like to save it, select a location on disk, and click the Save button.

✓ Tips

  • If you want to save a previously saved presentation with a new name, in a different format, or in another location on disk, use the File > Save As command rather than File > Save.

  • Another way to save a presentation as a Web page is to choose File > Save as Web Page.
