Merging and Splitting Cells

Keynote lets you merge cells, which is combining two or more adjacent cells into one larger cell, or split a single cell into two or more cells, either vertically or horizontally.

To merge cells

1.
Select the cells you want to merge.

2.
In the Table Inspector, click Merge Cells.

or

Choose Format > Table > Merge Cells.

or

Control-click or right-click the selection and choose Merge Cells from the contextual menu.

The cells merge (Figure 7.16).
