Using Color and Gradient Fills

You can fill shapes created in Keynote with solid colors, color gradients, or an image (see the next section for image fills). A color fill replaces the interior of the object with a solid color, picked from the Colors window. A gradient fill creates a smooth blend from one color that you set to a second color. You can fill any of the drawing objects created in the Keynote Shapes menu, and you can also fill the shapes (bars, columns, pie slices, and so on) in Keynote charts. You use the Graphic Inspector to apply fills to shapes (Figure 5.31).
