Chapter 5. Working with Acrobat

Chapter 5. Working with Acrobat

Working in Acrobat is very much like working in Acrobat Reader. The user interface has the same basic elements and a few more to handle the enhanced capabilities in Acrobat. This chapter presumes that you're familiar with the basics of the Acrobat Reader interface and points out only those things that are different in Acrobat. Refer to Chapters 1 and 2 if you need a refresher.

Acrobat lets you do more than just read a PDF file; you can also edit its text or graphics; add pages; add hyperlinks; create navigational structures; and even make a PDF into a multi media extravaganza with sound, movies, and dazzling transitions between pages. I'll deal with the more-complex features in later chapters.
