Chapter 6. Structuring PDF Documents > Rotating and Cropping Pages

Rotating and Cropping Pages

Occasionally, a PDF page will be rotated the wrong way when it opens in Acrobat. You can change the rotation in the Rotate Pages dialog box.

To rotate a PDF page:

1.
Choose Rotate Pages from the Document menu or from the Thumbnails palette's menu (Ctrl+R/Command-R).

The Rotate Pages dialog box appears.

2.
Specify the direction in which you want to rotate the pages (Figure 6.27).

Figure 6.27. In the Rotate Pages dialog box, specify the pages to be rotated and the direction of the rotation.

Pages can be rotated 180 degrees or 90 degrees in either direction.

3.
Choose the page number or range to be rotated.

You can use the pop-up menus at the bottom of the dialog box to narrow your choice of pages further by rotating only even or odd pages, or only pages in landscape or portrait orientation.

4.
Click OK.

The pages are rotated.
