By default, both Acrobat and Acrobat Reader open PDF files to the first page and at the Fit in Window zoom level. At times, however, you want a document to open to a different page or at a different zoom level.

Choose File > Document Properties > Open Options. The Document Open Options dialog box appears (Figure 6.2). Figure 6.2. The Document Open Options dialog box lets you choose how to open your documents. |

Make changes in the opening-page options. You can specify the page on which the document will open and what page elements will be visible. |

Click OK. |

Save the document by choosing Save from the File menu (Ctrl+S/Command-S). The changes will appear the next time you open the document in Acrobat or Acrobat Reader. |
